Sanna Marin – Hope in Action

In the book Hope in Action, Sanna Marin, Finland’s former Prime Minister and one of the world’s youngest heads of government, shares her personal experiences and her time at the center of power. The autobiography was released simultaneously worldwide, and Gul PR was commissioned to manage the launch of the Swedish edition.

The challenge lay in managing a major global launch where we initially had no interviews to offer with Sanna Marin. Through a creative and strategic approach, we focused on the book’s unique perspective and Marin’s significance as a political icon to generate a major media impact.

The result was that the book was featured and reviewed in approximately 50 publications during its launch week alone, along with dedicated TV segments and extensive radio coverage. Following the initial launch, the book has remained a constant topic of discussion in both major national outlets and local media. Later in the collaboration, Gul PR successfully arranged a visit to Sweden, where Sanna Marin appeared on Northern Europe’s largest talk show: Carina Bergfeldt.
